What is the meaning of baptism?
Baptism shows that we identify with Christ’s burial and resurrection. It illustrates my new life as a Christian. Baptism doesn’t make you a believer—it shows that you already believe! It is an outward sign of a change you have made in your heart.
When should I be baptized?
As soon as you become a believer. There is no reason to delay. As soon as you have decided to receive Christ into your life, you can and should be baptized. If you have been a follower of Christ for some time, though, it’s never too late! Our next opportunity is on Sunday June 6th during the 10:00a.m. In-Person Service.
Who should be baptized?
Every person who believes in Christ. We encourage children to wait until they are old enough to believe and understand the true meaning of baptism before we baptize them.
We encourage everyone to invite their family and friends to the service. It is a great opportunity to testify about God’s work in your life.
