We Are So Glad You're Here!

We know it can be intimidating to walk into a church for the first time – whether you’ve attended others or this is your first time. In order to help you know just what you’ll experience, we thought we’d give you a little overview. Here’s what you can expect:

1. Attend a Service

Wear whatever makes you comfortable, we have a casual atmosphere at Arlington FM. Great kids programs for children (infant-5th grade) are also available. A program for Middle & High School students (6th-12th grade) meets at 6pm in the youth center on Sunday nights. The Early Service at 9:00AM is more streamlined, never more than 60 minutes long, and does not have children’s programs. The 10:30AM service has a full Kid City Program (Birth to 5th Grade). Check-in is adjcent to the Welcome Center in the main entrance.

2. ARRIVE & GET PARKED

Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to find parking and a seat. The church is located one block south of Cascade Valley Hospital and one block north of Kent Prairie Elementary near the corner of Highland and Stillaguamish Ave. There’s ample parking available. The main entrances are on the west side of the building under the awnings.

3. Find a Place for Yourself and Your Kids:

There will be greeters wearing name badges at the entrances. You can ask them to point you to the auditorium, or to children’s check-in if you have kids.

4. WE HAVE YOUR COFFEE NEEDS COVERED!

Free drip coffee and tea is available before and after services – bring it with you into the auditorium if you want. The coffee table is located in the café. We also have an espresso stand with hot and cold drinks available for purchase.

5. Enjoy the program

Our services are designed to encourage, inspire and challenge you! It will last about 65 minutes, starting with a greeting from one of our pastors. We’ll sing 3 to 4 songs (participate only if you’d like), then hear a message that interprets the Bible, applying it to your everyday life. Our goal is that you walk away each week with a next step that you can take with you.

6.  Relax and Be Our Guest

During our services you’ll never be singled out as a visitor. You aren’t expected to participate in the offering. You can remain entirely anonymous if you like. The only thing you’ll be encouraged to do is fill out a Connect Card so we know you were with us and can give you some more information if requested.  You can also visit the Welcome Center in the Cafe afterwards so we can get to know you a little and answer any questions. Then if you’d like, you can take the next step by joining a Growth Group, Serve on a team, or sign up for our next Discover Arlington FM Membership class.
